Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information Grocery processes and the choices available to you.

1. Grocery data

Grocery stores the list title, item labels, optional quantities, completion state, versions, timestamps, and random access capability needed to operate the list. It does not require names, email addresses, or accounts.

2. Private access link

The access secret remains in the URL fragment, is sent to the API only when required, and is stored by the server only as a cryptographic hash. Treat the complete link as a credential.

3. Technical data

The service processes ordinary request data such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and security or error logs to operate, protect, rate-limit, and diagnose the service. It is not used to label collaborators.

4. Optional analytics

Google Analytics loads only after consent on public marketing pages. Private list URLs, locators, capabilities, titles, items, quantities, and list sizes are not sent.

5. Sharing and retention

Anyone with the complete private link can see and change the list. Data may be retained while a list is useful and for a reasonable operational period afterward.

6. Contact and requests
